Available for purchase is a portion of the rights of 136 songs, including classic tracks like "Breaking The Law" and "Living After Midnight", said to be worth between £250,000 (approximately $337,000) and £300,000 (approximately $405,000) a year.

So “in theory” if these 136 songs generate $340k-$400k per year {his 1/3??}
Most songs up to his leaving the band were Downing, Halford, and Tipton (with some exceptions of course) – then that would mean $1,020,000 to $1,200,000 would be the total take in royalties for the three song writers annually for the songs written during his tenure.

Again this is all speculation.

I have offered £5 for the "rights" to 'Breaking The Law", but haven't heard back yet.

I am hopeful, obviously.

That, would actually be cool, since that song never got a Jazz Remix.
